Dairy products may help premenopausal women maintain bone health when they’re dieting, suggests a study from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. Weight loss is often accompanied by bone loss, unfortunately. In the study, 90 overweight or obese women, age 19 to 45, went on calorie-restricted diets and exercised daily (aerobic workouts and strength training) for 16 weeks.
